Sponsored events

I have also been involved in some sponsored events lately, running the 25th London Marathon with my friend Dave Brons. I raised £300 for 'In Ministry to Children' who work with Street Children in Colombia.

I competed in a Mini Triathalon for The Lighthouse Group who help young people and their families through education, housing and support. I haven't raised very much for that, but if you'd like to sponsor me some more money that they would be very kind. This event was a 400m swim followed by 10km cycle and finished with a 5km run. The swimming nearly killed me but I did it in a semi respectable time of 1.12:58.

This summer of 2006, I hope to be completing the Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge for my second time. Previous time was 8hr 50m when I was a lot fitter.

I would really like to complete the Welsh 14 peak challenge on what will be my second attempt. This is walking every mountain in wales in one day.
